Great keyboard

I haven't used many mechanical keyboards; only reference is a Ducky One 2 RGB w/ Cherry MX Brown switches. I purchased the K2 Pro w/ Keychron Pro Brown switches, and I really like it. Takes up less space on my desk, typing is smooth, tactile, and not too loud. Key layout fits my needs perfectly; thought I would miss the 10-key, but it hasn't mattered at all. If this keyboard appeals to you, I'd have no hesitation to recommend it.

A definite upgrade

I have been using the keychron K2 V2 for more than a year so when this came out, I knew I had to get this. and boy I never imagined the smoothness and thock on this thing. I replaced the brown switches with lavender purples and it feels even better.

Best keyboard I ever experienced

This Keyboard is an absolute gem. It's incredibly well built, the keys feel amazing, typing is extremely smooth and comfortable. I purchased it with the K pro red switches and I must say it's better than I expected for sure. Also it looks elegant, not too bold nor too subtle. Not to mention I got it within 5 days from ordering it, so it goes without sayin I'm immensely satisfied with the service and product as well.

Very good and complete keyboard

I bought the fully assembled RGB with browns for work and privately and I'm really happy with it! It types really well. Had to get used to the switches a little bit but you can notice that they are pre-lubed. I might switch to Gateron or Cherry MX in the future but all is good for now. The typing sound is very satisfying, I love it! Also the stabilizers feel very sturdy and are pre-lubed. The RGB is pretty awesome and enough modes to enjoy! The aluminium case upgrade is a must in my opinion for durability and sound. I use my keyboard mainly with MacOS and Linux and it works really well with both OS's. I didn't experience any problems with cable and bluetooth. Bluetooth interferes sometimes with my bluetooth audio but I saw that it can be solved with a firmware upgrade. I had some trouble with the VIA software being stuck on "searching for devices" but you need to import the JSON before using VIA which is a bit annoying but it works.

Good board as expected

I have a K4V2 that I spent hours to mod (silicone pour + plate foam + lube switches). Getting this slashed the time and money spent. I got the barebones version as I know I want to lube the switches myself and use my own keycaps. This feels fairly solid and there is no hollow sound that the stock K2 (non-pro versions) had.

It's a good buy; I'm happy with the quality and the features of this thing.

Program with QMK & VIA.

QMK/VIA means endless possibilities for a fluid workflow. Thanks to our engineering team,  a wireless mechanical keyboard can have these capabilities right out of the box.

Simply connect the K2 Pro to your device with a cable, drag and drop your favorite keys or macro commands to remap any key you want on any system (macOS, Windows, or Linux).

Check out the video above demonstrating how to remap the Light Effect key (located on the K2 Pro’s top right corner) to an Eject key with the VIA software, so you can get a shortcut to put your Mac to sleep (Command-Option-Eject), or even remap the fn key in a breeze. It’s never been so intuitive and flexible to personalize your own keymap.

An ultra-low-power ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit STM32L432 MCU which is powerful, and equipped with 128K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers.

Upgraded Typing Experience

The K2 Pro has been re-engineered and redesigned from the inside out to upgrade the typing experience. The added sound-absorbing foam, a thick silicone dampening bottom pad, and steel plate provide responsive feedback and a peaceful typing sound, while added weight will enhance the stability.

Hot-swappable

Every detail matters, so we make the K2 Pro hot-swappable for your personalized typing experience. The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can hot-swap every switch on the K2 Pro with almost all of the 3pin and 5pin MX style mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.) without soldering. You can customize your own typing experience in seconds.

The Barebone version (without switch and keycap) is also available at your choice.

Screw-In PCB Stabilizers

Even small part matters for your fingertip feel. We’ve integrated the PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers for a smoother typing experience with less wobbliness on the big keys such as space bar, shift, enter, and backspace. The Keychron K2 Pro also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.

Pre-lubed Keychron K Pro Switch

By optimizing the switch mold, the K Pro switch wobbles less than a standard mechanical switch and feels smoother on each hit. Plus, the factory pre-lubed process on all the K Pro switches (exclude the clicky ones), no doubt this will ensure the best smoothness at your fingertips when typing.
