Excellent keyboard

I rate this keyboard 5/5. It is built solid, sturdy, heavy. It's weight plus the rubber feet keeps it stable. I think the S1 is much better than the K3 in both sound and tactile feel (both using red switches) which I previously owned which I gave to my wife who loves it very much. The sound is not annoying, very much reminiscent of old mechanical keyboards. I would definitely recommend this keyboard to my friends/colleagues.

Neat Little Keyboard

Overall I've been very happy with this keyboard, after using it for a few days now. For context, I ordered this keyboard with Gateron Blue switches. Stock the keyboard is great. Good build quality and feels very sturdy, the stock keycaps are nice, and the size of the board is great for a smaller desk. Only gripe on build quality is the USB-C port on the keyboard, mine wobbles a bit but the cable is secure.

After a few days of using it I couldn't stand the Gateron Blue's anymore. I ordered the switches to try out click jacket switches since I've only used the Kailh Box Whites/Pinks previously, which I loved, but the Blue's clicks are just too high pitched and annoying for me. I swapped over to Gateron Browns, which I find a lot more enjoyable on this board.

Speaking of swapping switches, this board was pretty easy to swap switches on. No major issues and switches came out & went back in easily. I also opened up the board, since I wanted to see the insides, and it's not too hard to disassemble (screws are behind keycaps, making it more difficult to disassemble). I applied the Tempest Tape mod to the keyboard and overall enjoyed how it affected the sound. Only note of caution if anyone else does the tape mod is to watch-out for the stabilizers, as the tape will cause the stabs to stick due to the stab design poking out the back when depressed.

The only other thing I could want from this board is quality shine-through keycaps, since it's something I'm used to having on my boards, but I have a set of XVX keycaps on order.

In the end I rate this keyboard a solid 5/5 in my mind, assuming you want a low profile keyboard and don't want/need wireless. I plan on using this keyboard as my daily driver at home for a few months, instead of my GMMK PRO with Kailh Box White V2's, and see how I like it for my personal computer. If I don't like it more than the GMMK PRO I plan on taking it into work, since it's more than quiet enough for my work environment.
