We all have our unique typing preferences, that’s why we went the extra mile to make the K3 the world's first hot-swappable low profile Optical switch keyboard. We’ve implemented a MX-styled stem and stabilizers, and conducted numerous design iterations of the keyboard structure.
You can easily hot-swap every Optical switch in a few seconds to customize your typing experience on the K3 without soldering. *Hot-swappable feature is available for low profile Keychron Optical switch version only.
With the MX-styled stem housing and 0.2ms ultra-low latency, the low profile Keychron Optical switches are crafted for typists or gamers who want to type at lightning speed with a 70 million lifespan much greater than industry standards.
*Low profile Keychron Optical switch keyboard is not compatible with any conventional mx style mechanical switch.
We’ve spent over a year developing and implementing a MX-styled stem on both the low profile switches for the K3 as well as stabilizers on the big keys like the space bar, left Shift, backspace and Enter key.
It will improve reliability, deliver better typing experiences, and may potentially pave the way for other keycap manufacturers to launch alternative keycaps.
Crafted for productivity, the K3’s 75% layout is a compact version of tenkeyless layout. It allows users access to all the essential multimedia and function keys, but with a smaller footprint.
18 TYPES OF RGB
Comes with various RGB backlight settings, you can adjust the keyboard brightness to sync with your mood. Various backlight patterns are also available on the K3 White Backlight version.

everything great! nice typing experience and all.
No customs for (2022) EU delivery.
the backlight mode switch should be fn + light switch combination, in order to avoid accidentally switching the backlight mode
[+] : easy to setup and carry, dimensions match Surface keyboards pretty well, optical (red) linears are very smooth and the stabilizers do not rattle. Battery life has been excellent!
[-] : a more detailed battery level indicator would be nice, backlight mode switch is a bit too easy to hit accidentally when reaching for touchscreen/pen.
I almost didn't buy it because unfortunately, there is no ISO FR layout. Please make a keycap set available, I would buy it in an instant !!!. And I'm pretty confident (I spent quite some time on the french forums) there are many french people waiting for and Azerty K3 keyboard.
I bought the ISO UK layout and had to swap a few caps to have an Azerty like keyboard. It's not a perfect solution (many keys do not match), but I found no other keyboard with the same qualities (bluetooth, mechanical, low profile, mac, small but with function keys...), so I gave it a try.
So far, I love the typing experience ! (I juste have to change a few brutal habits, my old Apple magic keyboard needed quite some force).
As for the delivery, same as Vipin : approx 10 days delivery, I also didn't have to pay any custom, that was perfect.
I bought the UK ISO layout of the K3 V2 (€93 with shipping included). From the time I paid till the delivery, 10 days went by. At the time of arrival in Luxembourg, I didn't have to pay any customs.
For the keyboard itself, its well built, the finish is clean, the low-profile optical brown keys do take a while to get used to, but overall, I'm very satisfied with the product. I've tested it with macos and windows, as well as cabled/wireless, no issues encountered so far after 3 weeks of use.
Pretty happy with it. Looks good and feels good. It wasn’t my first choice layout, but it was what was available in UK layout at the time, and I figured I’d just get another in the right layout for me if I liked it.
I just chose red keys, but they’re perhaps easier to trigger than I’d like. I’m new to mechanical keyboards, so just took a punt on the default.
Related to the layout is that the column of keys on the right can be a bit too easy to trigger accidentally, which includes changing the backlight settings.
My main annoyance is the lightshow when it has power, but no data, i.e. wired to a hub, laptop asleep/off.
I also have no experience of using bluetooth for keyboards, but found waking it and reconnecting very often to be a bit of a pain. This may be completely normal.
I’d love a built-in USB hub to plug in a mouse, but I’m probably a bit strange preferring wired devices.
Above sounds quite negative, but I'm being very picky. I'll be buying my preferred layout when it's available.
